Brooklyn Children's Museum: Chinese New Year

On the way to the museum we always get stuck in traffic in Williamsburg. But it gives us some time to take some good photos at least. Love the form of these guys, and that kosher umbrella hat.

So they had this thing set up at the museum called Play:ground. They had this sarcastic instruction up for the parents. "You might be surprised to see how they step up to the challenge when given the chance." Jeez. Fine.

Sofia, without much help, built a sky viewing box. Okay, I admit, it was my idea, based on something Gen and I did for Burning Man. But Sofia took it to another level by giving it a periscope, and filters. She got a box of cloth for different filters and ended up with a beautiful shot.
